to know the truth so that they can become
free in Christ to serve others..."

Christian Education Foundation

Established in 2008, the Christian Education Foundation (CEF) is the funding arm for the ministries of the Center for Christian Education (CCE) in Martin, Slovakia.

Because Slovakia's government funds only a portion of CCE's educational expenses, CEF engages in fundraising activities in Slovakia and abroad to supplement and help defray the costs of Christian education offered by the following ministries:

  • The Lutheran Academy, an accredited institution serving preschool, kindergarten, elementary-school, and high-school students
  • The Bible School of Martin, offering basic biblical training for teenagers and adults, The BeFriender ministry (a program that trains lay people to be compassionate listeners) and other programs in pastoral counseling or community building projects
  • The Bible School now operates under the auspices of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Žilina, offering accredited programs in Elementary and Secondary education (master´s-degree program) and Youth Ministry (bachelor´s-degree program).

Our goal is to provide high-quality education in an inspiring Christian environment, regardless of a family's religious background or ability to pay. Deeply rooted in Christian principles, our educational model creates a solid foundation for people of all ages to grow and thrive. Furthermore, introducing Christ to our students affords invaluable outreach to their families, friends, and the community.

We are immensely grateful to all of our friends who believe in our mission and support the work of the Center for Christian Education. Through your gifts, you play an active role in transforming lives, providing people of all ages with their most valuable possession: a relationship with God.

We invite you to be part of this work that God has called us to do!
