THE WEDDING OF ĽUBKA AND MILAN

The song “your love is stronger than death” performed by Marian Lipovský, leader of a favorite Slovak worship music group, brought a special charm to the wedding ceremony. The song’s lyrics “you walk beside me always my eternal love” and “your banner of eternal love blows over me” beautifully say that God’s love is the crown of all human desires.

“Apples felt good in the belly”

Some little girls from the Lutheran elementary school in Martin drew this Apple for you. The drawing arose from Vitamin Week, during which the children enjoyed a fruit for a snack every day. From Monday to Friday, the children’s bags contained apples, bananas, plums, pears, or oranges.

The girls called their drawing “Nice apple”. The story about this apple is really cute and funny (we translated their story in literal translation, coppying the grammar of the little girls):

”It was time when on apple tree was a nice apple. When the apple was born was long time ago. Once from the bud is made a twigs and later the apple. Apple was eaten. Apples felt good in the belly.”

Caught in getting to know one another

New freshmen of Mission work with children and youth are getting to know each other

We came at the moment when 21 people were running from side to side, trying to beat their opponent and win. With laughter, the new freshmen begin with the “Zero Week”—a four-day marathon of getting acquainted, fun learning and “SCHOOL”!

Sketchboard – paints, brushes and the Bible

I still do it to today (laughs).
